Pregnancy Pains are something which you have to deal with whether you are a first-time parent or are planning your second child. Today in this blog you will come to know the most common conditions that can affect your pregnancy and you should know it beforehand.
Low Back Pain
The first and the most common pain during pregnancy is lower back pain. It is usually because you are carrying 20 pounds of weight and carrying it 24/7. As the baby grows your center of gravity shifts forward resulting in putting pressure on your muscles and it can be continuous, sharp, less, or even severe in some cases. The pain eventually goes away in your back and leaves you with a toothache-lingering-type pain down your leg. Lower back pain can range from making you feel tight in your lower back to something like you have a broken back. In such a case you should avoid wearing crappy shoes or carrying heavyweights rather than try out wearing soft shoes and massaging your lower back.
The second type of pain that might bother you during pregnancy is Sciatica pain. It’s a pain that puts more pressure on your back and remembering this pain can even drop you to the ground. It can start from a pain in your butt affecting your leg with hot pain. Although it is a temporary pain but can impact the quality of your life during pregnancy. It feels like a hot searing pain down your leg and if you are in a habit of sitting for too long or are having a curve in your lower back then you are more likely to suffer due to this pain. To get relief try out moving a tennis ball to your butt in a circular motion and you can also try stretching and icing wherever it hurts.
The third type of pain is Pubic pain and is a kind of pain where you have pelvic pressure with a cramping sensation. This is usually because of your expanding uterus during pregnancy.
If you are having vaginal or pelvic pressure, or pain early in your pregnancy, it is most likely your uterus expanding. It can range from annoying pressure to making you feel as if a horse kicked you in the crotch. Such pain is usually accompanied by pain in your lower back, pelvis, and inside your thighs. You can say that it is similar to the one when you have your period. Sometimes it can even cause clicking sounds. This pain feels like pressure on your vagina and squatting and picking weights can make it even worse. For relief, you can use a pregnancy belt or can even try putting a pillow between your legs.
